Mau came to us as a shy but affectionate girl and now that she has settled in at the shelter she is really coming out of her shell. She needs a calm and loving family with previous experience with Huskies and children over 10 years old. She will require further training and socialisation to build her confidence; exposure to lots of different dogs, humans and environments using treats and praise is ideal for her. She loves spending time with people so her new family should be at home with her most of the time. A large yard and an active lifestyle is essential to suit her high level energy. She is very friendly towards dogs, but she should go to a home without cats and pocket pets as she may chase them.
