YAPP Australia Automotive Systems Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of YAPP, this global component company has been investing and expanding their operations in China, India, Russia and Australia with over 15 production sites. YAPP is a professional supplier of global fuel system and ranked as fourth in the world. Our main customers are Volkswagen, Audi, General Motors, Ford, PSA Peugeot Citroen, SAIC, Chery, etc. This new expanding manufacturing company, based in the northern suburb, prides itself on being innovative with strong client relationships with GM Holden and Ford. Due to expansion into the Australian market, we currently have two positions open for Maintenance and Process Engineer for both Adelaide and Melbourne sites.




The right candidates will have the opportunity to travel overseas. You will be passionate about using process to achieve outcomes and efficiency. Internal training will be provided.


Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


Assisting withtrouble shooting and fault fining on equipment breakdowns and problemsAssisting with continuous improvement – identify and implement ways to improve systems,processes and equipment generallyAssisting with internalQuality Control inspections andauditsDealing with day to day maintenance and engineering work requests from ProductionLiaise with YAPP headquarter for latest technology updatingMaintenance/engineering tasks and projects as assigned from time to time

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:


An Australian Citizen or a holder of Permanent Resident VisaRelevant Bachelor Degree in Engineering areaBe fluent (both spoken and written) in English and Chinese (Mandarine) language skillsHas a good sense of responsibility, a mind of great capacity and always willing to learnExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNo problems with frequent international travelRelevant work experience will be highly regarded but not necessary
